Announcement: Why I'm taking a break from blogging

Hi Gorgeous!
I want to announce that I've decided to take a break from blogging for a while. Im really upset about it because I love it, but I think it's the best thing I can do for myself until I get several personal problems fixed. I want to thank everyone who has viewed my page, it means the world. I'll be back soon :)

Spring Fling

Hey Gorgeous! I've been doing a lot of thinking since last week to how I can improve my blog. I've made a couple changes and deleted some posts. Now I'll be focusing more on fashion and makeup, which are my fortes and what I truly love. I will still be doing some home decor, as I redecorate my home.

I've been sick with pharyngitis all week.. and it hasn't been fun. I'm so glad spring is making it's way in! This is my first spring OOTD.. Hope you guys like it!

I am celebrating Spring of 2014 with a minty-green pastel lace crop-top paired with white skinny jeans. I tried on brown pants, but it didn't flatter the top or the rest of the outfit, so I stuck with white, which complements the top perfectly. I think another color that could go instead of white is a pastel pink, but sadly I don't own a pair of those.. yet ;) I defiantly wanted to add some brown in my outfit, so I added brown combat boots and a cross body bag. I added gold accessories such as a watch, a chain bracelet, and my prized possession, my Cartier love bracelet.

My look
Hollister mint-green crop-top.. $9.99
White jeans.. Original: $68.00  /  Sale: $12.99
Steve Madden 'Madden Girl' Gizmoo combat boots... Original: $70.00 /  Sale: $53.99

Book Shelf Decor/Haul + NEW VIDEO

Hey Gorgeous! I'm so exited to say that I am off from everything for a week! This means more videos and posts :).
My new video went up yesterday night like I promised; Enjoy! :)

I wanted to make a post to tell you guys where I got everything and how much it was, so if you wanted something you can just look back here, instead of going back and forth on my video; lol! I also wanted to show y'all where I got the bookshelf itself and how it became pink.

This is the 'Closet Maid 9 Cube Organizer' in white; I got this one at Target for $40.00, which is expensive, but this was the only cubical that I loved and that looked perfect in my room. You do have to build it yourself, which is a hassle. I built it twice, the first time to see if it fit where I wanted it to go, which was under my TV. I'm not going to lie, I did have problems building it because the manual is not very straightforward.

Dimensions35.9 " H x 35.9 " W x 11.6 " D

I used 'Rust-Oleum' Painter's Touch Ultra Cover Paint + Primer in 'Gloss Berry Pink' to paint the cubical. The material, "wood" of the cubical was a little bit hard to paint on; Sometimes when put something on it, it will scratch some paint off, so I have to go back and put a little bit of spray paint on the cubical (which isn't hard). Other than that problem, I think it turned out looking great.

Here is everything I got in my haul (I didn't include some things because either they were gifts, or its not available any more):

$7.99 at HomeGoods

$4.99 at HomeGoods (comes in green, pink, and white!)

$14.99 at HomeGoods

$12.99 at Marshall's (for both)

$5.99 at HomeGoods

@ Marshall's

Small one: $4.99

Large one: $4.99

                                                                       $4.00 at Michaels

DIY: Nightstand Flower Arrangement

Hi Gorgeous! If you've seen my 'Nightstand Decor' post or follow me on Pinterest this rose arrangement might look familiar.
Today I'm going to show y'all how I made it :) And don't worry if you're not very good with crafty things, because this one's fairly easy.

This was originally a glass cotton ball container that I had in the bathroom and didn't use, so I took the top off and used it as a flower vase. You can get one of these for cheap at the dollar store or any store that carries home supplies. I think I bought this one for about $3.00.

I got this rose bouquet from Michaels. It came put together with the price tag, so obviously I had to take that off. Once that happened, I put the roses together with a rubber band and than hot-glued a piece of Chanel ribbon (which you can find here), on top to cover the rubber band up and give the the roses a classy Chanel touch. (PS: It does NOT have to be glued perfectly!)

Rose Bouquette: I honestly forgot how much I got this one for since I bought it a couple months ago. I know it wasn't more than 12 bucks!
Chanel Ribbon- $9.99

Now, to my favorite part.. Jar fillers! Instead of getting actual jar fillers I got one 8mm gray and two 6mm light pink Crystazzi packages of loose pearls from Michaels.
I put the pink ones in first.

Pink Crystazzi packages- $3.00 EACH.

And here are the gray ones. And now you just put the flowers in... and tadaaa! You're done.
(PS: When shopping at Michaels ALWAYS use your coupons! You won't regret it)

What do you guys think? Feel free to comment below :)
Thanks for reading!

Hope everyone has a great rest of the week! :)

Review: Urban Decay "B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray"

Hey Gorgeous!
The B6 Vitamin-Infused Complexion Prep Spray is the latest Urban Decay Setting Spray. I know its been out for a little while now, but I couldn't decide if I should try it or not, since my skin is so sensitive, and the smallest things can make me break out.. So, after hearing so many great things about it, I decided to give it a shot anyways. This is not like the other UD sprays; Instead of applying it after you’re done with your makeup, you’re supposed to apply it on your skin before anything else goes on your face.
Here's the scoop on what's inside this baby, and what it’s suppose to do;
• Vitamin B6- controls oil
• Willow bark (tree sap that is rich in salicylic acid)- fights acne and reduces redness

I bought this spray a couple days ago and I've been using it everyday since to see what changes my skin went under. So here's my day-to-day analysis;

• Day 1&2- A little bit less oil.
• Day 3- Starting to break out.
• Day 4- BOOM! Breakout madness.

I was really excited to try "B6" based on all the rave about it, and because I swear by "de-slick", but as you can probably tell I am not too pleased with this product. I also think $33.00 is too expensive for a spray. The only thing I liked about "B6" is when you spray it on your face, it catches every angle of your face so you don't have to spray more than once or twice.
Overall, this sucker is going back to the store.

This week's nails: "Golden Bubblegum" + Arm Candy

Hey Gorgeous! I want to start by saying sorry I haven't been posting in a while. I've been having a really frustrating month. My computer has been down, and I just got it back.. Just crossing my fingers that it will work from now on!
I've been doing a lot of shopping, and I've started a new workout routine, so you'll be seeing a lot of new videos and posts!.. Now let's get to what this post is really about.

This week I'm wearing "My Favorite Ornament" from OPI's 'Mariah Carey Collection', and "I Think Pink" from  OPI's 2012 'Pink of Hearts Collection'.
"My Favorite Ornament" is very concentrated gold glitter in a clear base. Without a color underneath, it took 2 coats. To get a closer look of this color click here
"I Think Pink" is a light pink bubblegum color. It started out very sheer on the first coat but it built up perfectly by the third coat. Overall these have been my favorite nails yet.. What do you guys think? Feel free to leave a comment below :)

Now to my Arm Candy...
The Bow Ring is from Aldo. My hubby got this for me when we were shopping in Nashville. They had a sale going on in the jewelry section; 'Buy 1 Get 1 50% off' the sale items, so I got this sucker and another ring that came with it, plus another set of rings for $6.98 (originally $8.00 for each set)
My watch is Coach's "Mini Boyfriend Bracelet Watch". I picked this one up at Dillard's last week while they were having a sale. This was originally $248.00, but I bought it for only $86.00. I did my research to see if the watch was worth the money and it defiantly is! Coach watches are made by Movado Watches, a prestigious high quality Swiss luxury watch company. This watch is also waterproof and it comes with a 2-year warranty! What a steal!!

I'm also wearing Cartier's LOVE bracelet. Sadly I don't think this sucker will ever go on sale; The only bargain you can get is for a used one. (Be careful of scams!)
The last thing on my arm is Victoria's Secret "2013 Angel Wings Charm Chain Bracelet". I've been looking form one of these forever, and while I was shopping for Christmas gifts at Victoria's Secret, the staff told me that for every $100 you bought, you would get a free chain bracelet. Luckily I had enough so I got one free! Regularly these are $78.00; so this was one hella steal.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend! <3
